I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.

Ex twice world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
